Growth driven economy features a variety of innovations in areas such as new products, processes,
services and business modules. Both manufacturing and service enterprises should adopt and enhance
the innovative values through creativity in various ways.
We have observed and still witnessing increased knowledge, new ideas, state of the art technologies,
customer centred services amongst the SME Sector. We believe that using brilliant innovative solutions,
SMEs can create new products, technologies, design, services and strategies for marketing and other business
activities to bring transformation in their approach to compete in the global market.
It is imperative for the SMEs to convert the challenges into opportunities by adopting latest technologies in
manufacturing, processes and introduce innovative solutions. With a view to give an insight into the above
aspects, this Summit will deliberate on the entrepreneurial paradigm or best practices of innovative activities
and achievements in both manufacturing and service industries to explore the potential of unlocking the innovation
value.
Therefore Small and Medium Business Development Chamber of India (SME Chamber of India), India International Trade
Centre (IITC-India) and SME Export Promotion Council of India are putting efforts for empowering SMEs for global
competitiveness and organising “7th Global SME Partnership Summit” with the
Theme “Strengthening Technology and Innovation for SME Development” at Mumbai.
